FacetWin: Windows-to-UNIX Integration Solution By Tre Groeschel, FacetCorp Technical Support Coordinator

FacetCorp is the developer of FacetTerm and FacetWin. FacetTerm is our award-winning productivity software utility that allows character terminals (and PCs running in terminal-emulation mode) to run up to 10 sessions at a time when connected to a UNIX server.

FacetWin is our newest product offering, which is a comprehensive connectivity solution for Windows-to-UNIX integration. It includes File Services, Print Services, 32-bit Terminal Emulation, Simple Sign-On (SSO), Graphical Administrator, Modem Server, PC Backup & Restore, POP 3 Email Server and Remote Computing Support.

In this breakout session at TechCon99, I will cover FacetTerm but will focus on FacetWin—the all-in-one, Windows-to-UNIX integration software solution. The session will include a technical presentation and product demonstration. Installation and configuration issues will then be covered as well as frequently encountered technical questions.

Tre has been with FacetCorp for the last seven years. Prior to that, he was with VI Systems, where he provided system administration and technical support. Tre received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.
