The BASIS Advantage Summer 1998 (Volume 2, Number 2)

This issue focuses on aspects of GUI development using Visual PRO/5 GUIBuilder™. An overview of all the features of GUIBuilder, together with side articles on moving legacy data into a GUI environment and resources on GUI design, is provided, along with another article detailing how to create a simple "Hello, World" program. The use of input controls, INPUTE and INPUTN, in a GUI environment is also discussed. Also in this issue are articles profiling the creation of the BASIS German subsidiary, BASIS International Software GmbH, and a Swedish company, R&P Datakonsulter AB, that developed an Internet-enabled PRO/5® software package for car importers in Europe.
